SPACE ARTIST NAZ KÖKBUDAK

As an individual and an artist, Naz Kökbudak reflects "The Turkish Evil Eye", in other words, the eye of the universe, which she abstracts deeply philosophically and artistically in her works, on wood with a different interpretation of the artist. The artist, who believes that there is a divine system in which everyone is included, designs an Evil Eye Bead that can attract the energy of the evil-eyed people in our lives and destroy that bad energy. The artist adds three dimensions to the works by using many shades of blue. She uses gold leaf, that is, the color yellow, in her works. The reason for using yellow is that it also means abundance. The optical illusions and geometric forms she creates by using wood, acrylic and resin with a unique technique and color selection in her works describe the inner journey of man and the cycle of the universe.

The reason why each evil eye bead she designs is different and personalized is because each person's evolutionary journey is different.

After graduating from Saint Joseph High School, she graduated from Yeditepe Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Interior Architecture (2007). She worked in international architecture offices. Combining her artistic talent with her design perspective, adding the experience and vision she gained from business life;She produces 3D evil eye beads that combine different techniques of material, color, texture and design in the field of art. She has participated in many group exhibitions in Istanbul. Her works are exhibited in many galleries abroad.

The artist continues her art productions and projects in her studios on domestic and international platforms.
